Before I read this book I saw a lot of comparison's to Bitten, and I have to agree. However, I liked this book better than Bitten. I liked Kelley Armstrong's series, but I never loved it. This series has potential for me to really like, but I will wait to see after I read a bit more. I liked Faythe and her struggles, and her dealing with her ex Marc was enjoyable. Unlike Bitten, Faythe is not the only female, though she is one of only a few and still treasured amongst her kind. I am looking forward to reading on in this series to see if I enjoy the next books as much as I did this one.
