I am still very conflicted with this series. After book three, this was my favorite series, just edging past Mercy Thompson, but after book four I was too frustrated for this to remain number one. After finishing this book, I feel pulled in too many directions. I felt like the whole book got the reader invested in a particular direction, only to be yanked somewhere completely different right at the end. I feel much better than I did at the end of book four, but I would have been satisfied with a few different paths the story could have taken. To avoid spoiling any of the plot it is hard to say much else.
